  • Physical therapy utilizes manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise, functional exercise and other techniques to treat your muscle, joint, soft tissue or neurological conditions. We believe in patient education to help you understand your injury or condition as well as your treatment plan. Our physical therapists will develop an individualized treatment plan to address your goals and return you back to your optimal level of function.

  • Physical therapy blends manual therapy, which consists of soft tissue and joint mobilization, with exercise science to help you heal from an injury. It utilizes muscle strengthening, stretching and functional movement education to help you return to your previous level of function.

We also utilize modalities and other techniques to treat your pain.

  • Your doctor will typically refer you to physical therapy for 1-3 visits per week depending on your injury. Much like receiving a medication that you need to take daily to treat an illness, physical therapy works best when you adhere to the prescribed number of visits and home exercises provided.

  • Each appointment will be approximately 1 hour long.

  • We suggest you wear comfortable clothing and/or exercise attire. Shorts work best for injuries of the lower extremities but are not required.

  • We require 24 hours notice of cancellation. Late cancellations will result in a $50 fee and no-shows will result in a $75 fee. This charge cannot be billed to your insurance and you will be responsible for payment.
